celebrating dashai & tihar in akron

Dear Friends,

NAOO hosted the Dashain & Tihar celebration party this past Saturday, October 14, 2006, at The Chapel in Akron. We had an excellent turnout; 78 people, of all ages, joined the celebration. It was a lively evening filled with delicious food, entertaining performances, and most importantly delightful personalities.

NAOO would like to thank those who attended the party. We are so glad that friends from as far as Columbus and Toledo could attend the party. Those of you who could not make it to the event, we missed you.

I, on behalf of NAOO, would also like to thank all of you who pitched in to shop, cook, set up, decorate, serve and clean up with a great deal of commitment as well as patience, and because of our willingness to do everything ourselves we were able to save a substantial amount for the organization. We hope to hold other events in the coming days to raise fund for NAOO. I will keep you posted.
